I remember when diamonds weren't popular in the trading system, iron was the big thing (and enderpearls).

    I hate threads like this...
because this is what starts the failing of the economy we shouldnt even have. People start making up pointless theories about whos at fault, whos to blame and what the prices are. Its not that complicated. Stop making random rules on items value and just keep them as they were before grass was obtainable in large amounts in ma. This means the following:
Stop blaming 100 donors. they get 1 diamond in their kits. skygods get 3. so if anything you are not being fair. you are only blaming 100 donors because you are a skygod and cant accept maybe this rumor your spreading is actually your ranks fault.
But its not skygods or 100 donors fault that diamonds have "lost value". You know whos fault it actually is? Its people who start going on about diamonds losing value then making rules about the price of grass being rarer when in fact its not true at all. Diamond will always be the most stolen item, the most sort after item, the best item in game. There is nothing that will be able to buy a rare quite like a diamond. You know how i know that grass hasnt become rarer, because if it had, then at warp grass, the prices of items would have had a dramtic shift. Items would be much cheaper because 1 grass would buy more. But you know that the admins dont have a worry about bringing in one more rare item into the game? You want to know why? because they actually know that net does not have an economy, just a block that we use to trade, and then we decided what prices we want to put upon items.
So stop this nonsense. Because quite literally the more you make rules, blame certain ranks, stipulations, rumors and pointless topics like this, the more we find ourselves believing the lies and thus ruining the trade system that was actually working before people spread rumors about grass being rare.
If you tell a lie long enough and loud enough people will start to take it as the truth, so stop, enoughs enough. Rate me what you like, but im telling you everyone has a hand in this "economy" i suggest you stop singling out groups

I agree with Krissy. It is not any single groups fault, and really there should be no groups at all. It really is stupid how some of the "Higher" ranks think that they are better than everyone else. But back on topic, if diamonds become more common, then the prices of things like fireblocks will just go up.

thanks but what i disagree with is that we know more diamonds are coming into the server, but that shouldnt make an impact on rares unless someone decided to make the rares a certain price. diamonds are becoming more common but a lot of the diamonds coming into the server get lost or use for crafting, and a lot of them are being saved up. People decide the cost of things, its not dependent on diamonds, and the prices are inconsistent anyway. People just find reasons to support their claims so they have a reason to get more diamonds. So if they can justify their fireblock being 300 diamonds, the rest of us will start selling ours for that, or expecting higher prices, which makes the trade system unstable. As far as the economy goes, if the admins saw no issue in adding diamonds to the kits, then we should not be worried either. If the admins dont mind that people dont get as much grass from ma, then we shouldnt worry. we should be playing the game, not making rules on items and predicting false occurrences.

Economies don't die. They flourish and wither all the time. One day diamonds are selling for 20 grass then 2 stacks the next day. I've seen it happen. Nothing dies….

This is why all schools should teach economics.
SkyBlocks economy is 100% player based, thus meaning it's set by players, diamonds are dropping in price because people are selling them at a lower price, to undercut people. This is the core reason why I hate price guides, because they're so inaccurate, no item should have a static value.

Diamonds will rise and drop in price, getting 1 a day doesn't mean it's going to crash it, in fact people have been getting diamonds each day for years, yet the price is still rather stable..
