Again we are finding an influx of casinos being built cheaply, often (but not always) with janky designs that are prone to breaking down being sold to people who have no idea how it works. There is also an abundance of these casinos advertising A- The wrong odds (chance of winning the prize), B- The actual prizes in stock and C- Who verified the casino.

Now I would again take the opportunity to warn you that there are scam casinos and the odds are not always in your favour and the prizes advertised might not always be whats available to win, now staff can only do so much against these casinos as 1. They need proof, 2. They are working hard on other things too and 3. Not many people are actually reporting these casinos.

Now I am no expert on redstone, but I do know how to create, build and run a legitimate casino with legitimate prizes you can actually win. So while I myself do not currently have a casino, I wish to offer my services to those who run legitimate casinos with actual prizes with fair odds. I will be making a list of recommended Casinos, recommended by me, to make this list and be officially approved and recommended, I will require a tour of your casino, with access to the redstone and prizes, but only while I check it over. I will not be charging for this service, meaning if I recommend it, its valid and proven to me that prizes can be won, they are in stock and the odds are not outrageous for the cost of prize. I will not recommend anyone who isn't on this list.

This is a standalone system of approval and recommendation by a player, for players. I will not advertise or recommend anyone who is not approved by me, If I find your casino and it is a scam or the odds are horrifically high, then you will not be recommended and I will advise people not to use it. IF you are approved by me, I will place a sign approving your casino for all to see, I will also add you to the list below so people can refer to this to check if the approval is legitimate.

I'm tired of casinos being ruined by scammers and liars, and also tired of people being scammed out of their grass. This service is currently only available to Survival, but if enough people want it, then I will also do the same for Economy.

Finally; I am obviously just a player, just because I haven't approved of a casino doesn't mean it is not legitimate, I would also recommend to people to report (with evidence) any dodgy casinos you come by. Please find below the current list of Casinos approved by me;

And to reiterate, I am just a player, with no authority, who is making a list of recommended casinos.

Drogo has never looked into casinos but wouldn’t trust any quoted odds as they change as soon as something of value is won/removed.
Drogo will never play any casino simply because you will never know if the prizes are there.
If someone advertises possible rare prizes knowing they have already been won/removed is that false advertising.

 

So if you have won these prizes as stated, the odds of these casino service have now changed unless these items were replaced.
Anyone seeking to get on your list may add more prizes during your testing and then remove them.
Drogo see no way other than random checks by mods to validate any casino claims.
It a great idea and needed to highlight scammers but it’s by no means foolproof.

Hey Drogo thanks for adding your opinion, the casinos I approve have made the list because of the merits I have looked into, yes as you say things may change after and yes staff approval would be the best case scenario, but what can staff do if they change after that staff member checks? Nothing, as they cannot spend all their time constantly looking into droppers every time someone wants to gamble a few grass, an impossible task. Whilst I appreciate your point and in an ideal world support it, unless someone is specifically made staff to deal with this, then I’m currently your best shot at knowing legit or not. As I have said before, I am one player, with no authority trying to make skyblock a better place as currently there seems to be a large populous of casinos all of which are not monitored.

Staff do not have the time to do these checks so you can either 1-Don’t gamble, 2- Gamble somewhere where at least you know someone has checked prizes, odds and even won from or 3- do what the hell you like anyway as it’s your life and I don’t control it. I just don’t want you to get scammed.

 

Important announcement regarding casinos | Skyblock Forums

 

There is a feature on a few well-built casinos that have some sort of lamp or torch light up or go off to indicate whenever something is in stock. Whenever I play these, I make sure to screenshot or record whether the lamp is on or not. I think Adrian had one of these in his before he closed it.
