Do you miss the old default ranks?

Maybe, but I would suggest doing that for all ranks (having all rank names dark with white brackets, or doing the same thing with light colors). Otherwise it will stick out and won't look very nice

 

Ye sure. Maybe green for skyknight, gold for skyking, magenta or purple for skylord, cyan for skygod, dark red for skytitan and the darker blue &9 for d400

 

If we do dark colors for donor ranks, we can do light colors for staff ranks (or vise versa).

 

As much as I adored greenbeans, I don't think it would be a suitable idea to change the default rank back. As Laini suggested, it has been two years now since the newer skyblock server was released. If there was going to be a change, it should've been done a long time ago. It would create confusion if the colours were reverted after all this time.

I do like the idea of a rank colour update. White brackets could work- this would allow other colours to be used for ranks; orange, turquoise, dark purple, dark green, etc.
I also believe the helper and Donor400 bracket colours should be swapped. (Currently Donor400 have the darker brackets).

I think the Donor400 color should be changed, seeing as it really only appears in tab. If it wasn't right below Helpers, I wouldn't be bothered by it. A rank color update would be nice though, and I'll have to test out some options later.

This thread is just to see what everyone thinks about bringing back the old default ranks, and we'll think about a new color for Elite if the old default ranks return.

 

As with my suggestion for skyblock, the skyking could switch to gold, and the elite could be yellow.

I find it sometimes hard to see the color grey considering the chat block is black, so I'd appreciate greenies coming back. Also, saw the post earlier but make brackets white.

 

I like the idea of white brackets and rank color revamps! : ) As long as skytitan can still choose their colors I am all for it.

 

Some people like to complain.

People will only be confused for a bit, but then get used to it. It's like how the format of private messages changed when the friends plugin was added.

If a lot of people want it, maybe we can push towards a full revamp for ranks.

I highly doubt that a change in rank colors would result in a change in perks too.

 

Not gonna lie, it is very hard to see greybeans. The color just blends in, and is very hard to differentiate between text and the background and all the other things happening

So yes, bring back greenbeans!

 

As Dinglesplat said, grey beans are very hard to see in chat because the color blends in so well with all the other ranks, making them harder to help them if the need assistance.

 

I love the idea, but don’t like the idea of purple on Economy, why purple? The original Economy server (.org) has greenies too!

It's always been greenies in the old org. I dont remember them having light purple color
