This thread could go on a millennia.
The fact is that religion has and will not be proven. The evidence gathered to defend religion originates from either the Bible, or one's own speculations. Nobody in this existence can prove a God exists or not. It's in one's believe and cultural views. My father is the most hardcore of Christians, yet he told me all the same. It's all in one's believe.

Atheists make no sense, to further add. I completely disapprove as they proclaim a God does not exist, when they can't truly ever prove so.

Oh why look at that, another controversial topic. You're just asking for trouble, aren't you? :p
Well, if you don't really want to read a long explanation of theology, then move on. I've saved you the trouble by putting it into a spoiler for you.

To be honest; science and religion can co-exist.

There is scientific proof to prove religion/ a belief in God.
Here's an article that anyone on this thread should look through. Please read it if you're going to say any more about how science does not support religion.

I think you may just be confused. I'm a little dusty here, so some things may be misconstrued. Basically, before Jesus came, the believers were Jewish. They lived by the Old Testament, and followed it's rules. Sinning is what got you into Hell at that time. Just because they lived before Jesus came, doesn't mean they automatically went to Hell. When Jesus came, some believed he was the messiah, some didn't. This is what seperated Christian's and Jews. Hope that made sense haha

And before the Jews? :p (referring to the time where religion didn't exist.)

If you go by what the Bible teaches, religion has always existed because the first people on earth were created by God and did know as fact that he exists. Obviously what they knew to be true was passed down through the generations, until Jesus came along and until the Bible was created. There really is no way of any human knowing what was required in order to go to heaven before Jesus came.

Either way, it is sort of irrelevant in disproving the belief in God by asking questions that we are not certain of. It doesn't make our beliefs irrational. There's plenty of things that scientists have no answer to. In fact, evolution requires more faith than Christianity.

There's a lot of archaeological evidence in religion, you'd be surprised.
