Disable the hopper limit

Plz disable the hopper limit, I made an item sorter and learned the hard way.

 

can someone tell me why they have a limit?

 

It’s to prevent lag. Buying an island expansion upgrades the hopper and spawner limit on your island I believe.

Anyways no support, it’s designed to reduce lag and by implementing this would be bad for the server. Sorry.

 

I would support a higher hopper limit as Borahae suggested, but removing is completely would be a no go.

 

Sorry, I can't support fully removing the limit as hundreds if not thousands of hoppers could crush performance.

Doesn't the limit go higher when you buy expansions? I think it's better this way because it gets way too laggy if there's so many of them on your island

 

I'm suggesting a moderate increase to that limit on a different thread.

 

How does an item sorter need more Hoppers than the limit?

 

Assuming you have a max expanded island and half your hoppers are tied up in shops and machines and such, then you'd be able to sort at most 16 items, which isn't super useful.
