Both of you are correct, but mods already have to watch real chat. Why need two chat rooms to watch? Maybe they could join them for mods, but that would be a ton of work for something that isn't needed.

I don't support either, again just riffing the idea. What about 2 chat types but having the ability to see them both at the same time? Mods could moderate normally, but chatting users could disable trade chat? Once more, but I don't see any way way to implement it.

Support for the trading and donor chat.

 

I think donors talking in color is kind of a donor chat. As said before, excluding green beans is not a goal.

Excluding Green Beans happens a lot, I know from personal experience, I think a lot of it is done un-intentionally.

 

This a million times. It's not their fault. But many ruin it for the rest. Some actually play the game well. But a lot just don't care about if they get banned or not? Many donors go as far as to not even trade or chat with them. So it's already a social stigma on the server, let's not make it worse.

And I'd like to add my own experience. After being a donor 100 for like two years, then playing on my alternate account (a green bean), you definitely don't get treated as nicely.

It would be nice to have something else other than the main chat. It gets too spammy. A trade chat sounds nice.
