Anyone so capricious that they would give up their donor rank and perks just for fun or nostalgia is equally likely to regret it after a few days and beg the staff to give them their rank back. If someone really wants to relive the joys of being a greenie again, they can always start over with a new alt and easily change their mind afterward without creating more work for the staff.

I think it would be fun to be able to disguise yourself as a greenie/any donor rank lower than your current one, but so many people would be saying "I did this on accident" or "I want to be a donor again" if it was permanent, so no support for that.
