NA CrystalCreeper_'s Trial Moderator Application

I will try to be as active as I can and thank you for your support. However, I can not help in global chat for a couple of reasons. One, it's an unnecessary message that just spams the chat. Two, some people don't like seeing those messages, they call it mini-modding. I don't care if I get backlash for helping people, but it's best to stay out of the drama. And Three, a couple moderators have recommended for me to use /msg rather than global chat.

 

Lots of players said that too, using global chat makes it easier so people recognize that you help players. If you help players in message all the time, then players are going to think you do not help at all. I am not saying messaging players is a bad thing, people might not support since they do not see you helping although you are in message. I also see mods talk in global chat all the time helping people. Mini-modding is not a thing to worry about since people can start drama and be mean, you can just ignore them.

 

Yes, all are valid points. However, because staff recommended something, I would prefur to do it. It doesn't really affect anyone in a negative way, and it's easier for the player to see it. My apologizes for any inconviences.

 

I understand your thoughts, I am giving you a heads up that if you use message, people are going to say you do not help players because they cannot see you message players. You can just tell that player I use message so it does not spam chat or your other reasons, but try not to get angry with that player.

 

CrystalCreeper, I believe I have expressed support for you in the past, but I cannot help myself and support you once again. You deserve to be promoted especially after applying for so long. If you would become a mod I would not hesitate and teach you!

I'll have to go neutral/partial support with this one. I'd love to see you help out more in game, and I'm comfortable with viewing you as a moderator. But either way, you did great, and I'd be welcome to moving up my status as you improve.
