Withdrawn Craney100's Staff Application

Bumping this for the first time ever.
Thank you for all the support recently, it means a lot.
I know things have been a bit rough on my part with my demotion from Discord Mod, but rest assured this does not make me any less of a candidate for In-Game Helper.
I have a lot more experience in game and feel I would work better as staff in-game helping players.
I haven’t let the demotion get me down, and if anything I feel it has given me the drive to want in-game staff even more than I did before - perseverance is key.

I still suport you but was there a reason you were demoted if so what. Only because this could effect my decision.

 

So the demotion was for using a feature that I wasn’t meant to have used in the given context. I hadn’t thought anything of it, this however was seen as using permissions I shouldn’t have I hope this clears up any misunderstanding regarding the demotion.

During my time on the staff team, even though it may have been short, I learnt some essential skills and got an insight into how positions on staff teams work - and therefore I feel I have gained some experience.

you have had fights with coolgames21 and icq10 how do we know when you are mod this will not happen and you will be able to control yourself

 

Hey Entri, I don’t know if you are aware but in the past you supported my application, but I totally understand and respect your choice if you would like to shift opinions.
So the Icq10 situation was absolutely years ago, I was a lot younger and got involved in drama, and I have changed so much since then. If you want details of the situation there is a thread that was created called “OfflineDuty: Hate, Hindering and Harassment” that fully explains the situation, includes screenshots, and inevitably lead to him receiving a permanent mute. Some of the comments he made were very personal and disrespectful and when I was at that age I retaliated.

Regarding CoolGames, I never did have an “argument” with him as such, I was just trying to get him to understand how the odds of in-game casinos work, and that odds should be worked out correctly and advertised correctly. I worked out the odds of his casino for him and advised him of the actual odds. A moderator dealt with the situation and it’s behind us - it was a long time ago now and I don’t involve myself with issues like that anymore. I know that if there is something being falsely advertised then I just make a player report.
If I ever did receive the chance to have a shot at In-Game Staff, in a similar situation I’d call on the help of other staff to get multiple view points of the situation before making a decision.

What's with all these new accounts coming on, with their only messages being on this app, then not being seen for days/weeks? Seems sus to me, but I'm sure there's some reasoning behind it (maybe one-time members that came on because Craney's app was mentioned, I don't know).

Wasn’t surprised to see you promoted at all to discord mod and I’m very proud of you.
But I’m disgusted to hear that what you’ve done has warranted a demotion. If you haven’t had teaching, why didn’t they expect you to use the command? High ups are betraying this community once again.

I remember the in-game chat that day and you were repetitively being toxic to CoolGames and egging his island after the mod had dealt with the situation. If I'm wrong about that please correct me

 

I do remember this, the whole situation in itself caused a lot of server tension. The big things I remember were the ban resulting in consistent egging after warnings, and a lot of bickering in chat.

Stan, is there a specific reason on why this event played out the way it did only a few months ago, and what would you do now differently, both as a player or a helper? I guess what I'm asking is if the personal growth happened, aside from excluding yourself from all situations like this. That's what would affect the stance on my support I guess!

 

So the situation was regarding the Casino but I don’t remember being toxic to the player, if you have any screenshots feel free to pm them to me - you both have me on Discord. I agree, the situation shouldn’t have happened and we were both warned by staff. This was a long time ago now.
I feel we all make mistakes, as we are human - but I will openly hold my self accountable and accept my mistakes.

Since then, I’ve grown as a person - I’m a lot less stressed and I don’t let little things get to me any more. Since, I’ve read into how to manage situations such as the false advertisement of casinos, received help from Staff Members for guidance as to how to handle different scenarios and ultimately improved myself.

Although you were demoted as Discord moderator, I believe you have learned from your mistakes. I believe you would make a great staff member.
