While I'm open to conversation with Megan privately, I believe this must be done as a publicly done discussion somewhere on the forums between the community and staff. The staff are lacking communication with the community, and personally, I wouldn't say they have the best relationship with the community, and that is what is really needed at the moment to ensure everyone is getting what they would like from this server. If a large portion of the playerbase agrees on this same issue and nothing is being done about it, there is time for change. If communication keeps lacking, the desire to help out on the server only decreases as well as the player base and the moral of the server in general.

Will that be your reason for not refunding someone if they get scammed in this way? They are expected to check that, or even know that it can be checked in that manner? If they just logged in to the ser4ver, they would have no idea of the need to check. They see head, they read head. They will believe its a head. Not that Drogo would do such a thing but if he did, he would look for players joining, and before they knew of the update, say something like "Hey, I'm quitting the game but selling all my heads cheap if you want to get in on it. I'll send you a TP." I know for most updates, the dev team would look at any potential exploits. Maybe because this is only a one day thing, this wasn't done, but Drogo could see the potential for scams within seconds of the restart.
Aren't April fools meant to be fun, not annoying. Skin changes, sure fun, noises I guess, fun, changing entities is ridiculous, you cant see what you are buying, especially maparts, if you are trying to build, breaking stuff = chaos of not being able to see what items are on the ground. Chest shops are chaos and like people have mentioned can lead to all sorts of scams (how did no one anticipate that)... I understand the need for April fools updates and the want to do something fun, but this went too far and annoying players isn't acceptable, you don't like when people annoy you, so why should it be accepted the other way round with the guise of "its fun". Just a little too far in my opinion, you made it unplayable for many today.
The idea and thought was really nice but I agree that some of the things that were done today have some negative impacts. Maybe they weren't thought of and that's fine but it's not ignorable! I liked the NYC Rabbit skin because it didn't impact anyone very much but the items being swapped resulted in some messy things. They're all player heads I'm guessing but when you break stuff or sell things, it can cause some issues and some misconceptions. And this particularly can be exploited and abused by people if they want to do so.. Overall, I liked the concept but there are some negative impacts of it. :<
I was hoping you would be more forceful in your statement I have been waiting for someone to comment on this Anyways here are some of the issues I have with this: What the hell are villager noises for? Yes you can mute them but if you're someone who depends on the audio on whatever you're doing such as managing a casino or terraforming your island then its literally annoying. This is awkward and annoying I can understand the point of heads dropping but all the heads I've seen are literally staff heads as well as some random ones (wtf is spongebob's pet gary doing) and why is a player who starts with a W (if you've been looking at all the heads you'll know who I am talking about) there? There should be a combo of staff and positive and well known players. This just shows the staff only cares about themselves and a tiny handful of people and not the community (hey what happened to connecting with the players and bringing positive connections) Here are the positives: The skin is great I love how everyone has a different color and it looks really nice Im guessing this is the first time this has been implemented and its a a start. It really invites people to the server and does encourage a positive experience. But it wasn't executed properly. I hope there's more stuff like this (but with a more positive experience) you did this on april fools
Yeah ngl the inclusion of only staff heads and whatever else there was is just sorta self centered lol. No wonder it was considered “fun”. At least include some of us But either way thats not the point, I couldnt be bothered playing today
