    This is a true story

It was the middle of 2016. School was closing to an end in about a month. I was playing Minecraft on my computer when my friend called me up on Skype. He asked if I could go go-karting with him in his yard. Personally, I've never even touched a Go-kart before, so I was extremely excited when he asked this. I couldn't let down the tremendous offer, so I said yes. I walked to his house, which is nearby. When I proceeded into his yard, he was already riding in the go-kart with his little sister. He asked if I wanted to try, and I said yes.

I climbed into the passenger seat (I wasn't allowed to drive the thing). He started the engine up. I could hear the loud roar of the engine, and could smell the gas. He hit the accelerator, and before you know it, we were speeding around his house. We were riding around the church parking lot, which is right in front of his yard. There was this really awful turn that we kept going over.

We rode a few more times around his yard before going one last time. This time, I started singing "Crazy Frog" for some unholy reason. My friend chimed in, singing to the addicting tune. I should have known this would distract him, because by the time we finished the "rrrrring ding ding bing ding bing ding" of the song, it happened. As we approached the turn, the gravel gave away as we turned too late. The go-kart started toppling down the hill we were next to. Thank goodness a tree stopped us from tumbling down even farther.

We just laid there for a minute. I yelled at my friend to get his mom to help us. He went to tell his mother, limping as he ran for emergency. Of course, I was laying there in a very uncomfortable position the whole time, crying like the masculine man of masculinity I am, and bleeding out of my chin. After 5 minutes, I was tired of waiting, so I struggled to get up. When I did, I started to limp back to the house, where his mom came out with a first aid kit.

I ended up with a deep puncture to my chin, and huge marks on my joints, hands, legs, and chin. Thank God my friend and I were lucky enough to not have any broken bones. To this day, I can still feel a circular scar where the puncture once was.

    The Horror

It was nightfall. The air was misty; the leaves were shaking. The sound of ravens from the highway echoed through my head. I touched the of my front door, and it creaked open. How odd. The ceilings and walls were ripped, and there were cracks on the wooden floor. I avoided the cracks on the cold floor, and headed down to the basement. When I got down, the smell of gore into my nose. I walked into my roommate Jackson’s gaming room, but there was no sign of him. How odd. I continued down the hallway, and crept to his room. I saw blood stains on the wall, and I shrieked in my head. The smell of blood grew stronger, and I felt my heart racing. Once again, sounds of ravens repeated in my head. Suddenly, I heard a scream filled with fright. I rushed in. All I saw was Jackson on the ground, with another man standing on him. There was no way my roommate is dead. My ears started to ring. I felt like I was about to pass-out. The man was wearing a clown costume, with a blade in his hands. I knew this could be the end of me. Immediately, I ran out of the room. I saw the worn down front door in front of me. I felt relieved for a moment. When I burst open the door, there was the clown in front of me. Fear filled me, and despair took control of me. I couldn’t move. He raised his machete. It was the end of me. I let everything out. Everything stopped. Was I saved? I thought. That was when I felt a sudden pain from my stomach, rushing to the rest of my body. I was stabbed.
