I think the question might be if they will spawn naturally. No, no mob actually spawns naturally on this Server. You Need a spawner. And even then, as Krissy said, the spawner must meet the same requirements that are needed for the mob to spawn naturally, i.e. the squid spawner must be below sea level in an ocean biome, the slime spawner below lvl 40, the skeleton spawner in the dark etc...

But squid spawners don't Need water. You can make them spawn on hard ground. They will die of suffocation eventually, but it works.

 

So it's possible but with a squid spawner. I guess I have to spend ink sacs with grass, trying to make some business (banners).

 

Also, you can make an auto squid farm using this ^^^^

 

Also if you have someone who can change spawners and don't mind it

Point at a spawner and doing /spawner squid over and over again it'll make them spawn each time you do it

They wont spawn naturally but if you get a skygod to spawn some theyd survive.

Spawners are 5-6 dia each

 

Not sure if any of this has been said but ok, sorry if it has been mentioned.

~You could ask a Skygod (Donor250+) to spawn in some squid in (Be polite)
~Get a spawner (5-6 Diamonds) and place it in water on level 52 (I believe). Ask a donor to change it to a squid spawner.
~Get an ocean biome island and squid will spawn naturally (Once again, Level 52 (I think xD))

How would you get an ocean biome island?

 

You could buy it off another player (I don't think it is expensive) or keep doing /newisland replace. BUT you must NOT take the items out of the chest. It is illegal ;c
