nice job me, the motherboard is bricked
It won’t beep with no ram installed


Although to be fair, I don’t think it can beep, I don’t see a speaker

 

Good news is my uncle tested the card in his rigged and it works better than expected, so the graphics card wasn’t a scam and works perfectly. My motherboard is still not working but since it has a warranty we are going to take it in tomorrow, but that won’t cost anything so yay

 

Warrenty =/= store return policy, if it outside the store return period then most likely they will tell you to send/mail the part to the manufacturer.
You can also try testing the PSU with a voltmeter or paperclip test but if the GPU fan (and assuming other fans) are turning on, then it is not the PSU.

The mobo is the broken part, the mobo is covered under warranty
It should he getting replaced today or tomorrow

Have you given the 1060 a try? Do you think you will still want another (GPU) upgrade at this point?

 

The gpu will sell for 300 and I will upgrade to a 3060 when I can

 

uh I run a 500w psu on my prebuilt rtx 2080 i7 8700....
