You can tell people there are risks involved and that they could die, until you're blue in the face. There are still people who are going to completely ignore you, not really understand what that means, or just assume that because their "teh best pvper evar!" that they won't die. Yes, if they die, it will be their fault, but that's not going to stop them from throwing a fit and disrupting chat or harassing the player that killed them, or crying out for mods to help.

If you've played on pretty much any server ever, you should have seen at least once something along the lines of "Omg! The winner is hacker! Because I lost and hacks!" Which is going to lead to mods investigating tons of false reports of hacking. That's not even taking into account all the people that might actually hack or cheat, and since the items are dropped, it's rather difficult to be able to return stolen loot when it was unfairly taken. No refunds when a hacker beat you? That's going to cause a lot of problems too.

It's been stated before that pvp won't be brought back, because it causes too many issues. People already complain that the mods don't respond quickly enough, as they can be stretched thin at times. I can only imagine what would happen if there were constant cries about cheating and hacking in pvp.

In the end skyblock is a survival based server, not a pvp based one.

I don't know about this. >.> It could be fine, but hacking might also be a problem? Not sure. I'll leave it up to others for thoughts on that one. XD

I don't even want to start in on how many of these suggestions I've personally archived.
Let's, once again, give all my reasons as to why PvP will never return to net.
    1. Hackers on hackers on hackers - I shouldn't have to explain this one
    2. Report on report on reports - The reports sections for net were so cluttered with PvP things, that a LOT of grief reports ended up drowning out because people not only made reports, but spammed mods about said reports. A lot of kids can't handle the fact that they lost and will do anything to try and get their items back.
    3. Cheaters - This one isn't about hacks, it's more about exploiting your commands and finding ways around the rules. Old PvP used to get a lot of flyers, a lot of /god users, a little bit of pet abuse. Plain and simple, there is no way to stop all of this (example, people get into ma j with /god or use their pets to fly, which is why the reward was nerfed considerably). Also, lets not forget god enchants.
    4. Mods - Mods don't have time to sit there are monitor PvP every time someone calls foul (which was about every 3 seconds on net) as there are far more serious issues to get to.
    5. Other servers - Crew owns other servers with PvP, and you can go play them whenever you want, Mineverse and Skywars both have PvP and believe me, there wont be people with god enchants there (I'd hope).

    Locked and archived.
