    basically a waypoint, you right click with a compass and the compass will have an enchant glint, be named lodestone compass and point to said lodestone

    this would be awesome for puzzle maps, custom locations on your Isle eg different spawn locations to guide players to lol. They visit your main spawn area and collect a compass that guides them to different farms :D

    I agree that re-adding fortress and bastion loot with modifications would help nether exploration feel less dry, and also be more intuitive to new players. Crying obsidian and obsidian are also part of the loot tables in bastions; iirc the former is very valuable in the current economy.

    SUPPORT please make the nether relevant again I literally visit this dimension once a month to spit in it for having fraud nether fortresses :mad:

    Is there anything you guys would want to see in the loot tables? There probably won't be anything netherite related. Consider items you can get in bastions as they can hold items like diamond armour or crying obsidian, and whether they should be there or not.

    You can enter a creative world and use this command to generate some loot:
    • /give @s chest{BlockEntityTag:{LootTable:"minecraft:chests/bastion_other"}}
    bastion_other can be substituted with the following:
    • bastion_hoglin_stable
    • bastion_bridge
    • bastion_treasure
    • ruined_portal
    • nether_bridge (fortress)
    Note that bastion treasure has quite generous loot compared to other loot chests, but naturally rarer to find.

    Definitely Soul Speed enchantment and quartz! Soul Speed is just a good enchantment to have while exploring and quartz is a rarity with current drop rates as low as they are.

    (EDIT: realize you mean loot already in the loot pool lol but would you consider maybe replacing some items with that?)

    Right now we're only looking to exclude items. Quartz and soul speed appear in the drop tables so a good chance we will have that

    I think only Ancient Debris and Netherrite Scrap should be excluded from the loot table.

    The only sources of diamonds are kits, keys, and the server shop. This favours AFK play (accumulating vote keys) instead of active play (exploring the nether). The same can be said for diamond armor.

    I don't see why crying obsidian should be removed either, since the only source is ruined portals in the nether.

    If there are plans for smithing templates or lodestones to be added to the wandering trader as a money/grass sink then I'd be okay with them being removed from the loot table too.

    I agree with everything but I think lodestones should also be removed as they use netherrite in their recipe as well. Somewhat useless on the server but it still has value because of netherrite.

    I think all of these are good except iron blocks and crying obsidian. Iron was already obtainable from nether chests pre 1.19, and crying obsidian can be found on ruined portals.

    Agree with the previous posters:
    * Crying Obsidian can only be used for decoration and a respawn anchor which I'm not sure works
    * Iron was available pre upgrade and shouldn't be nerfed any further.
