    Hi, thanks for appealing.

    Your permissions to rate were removed for 7 days because of 3 rude ratings you gave. The severity of the infraction is due to the fact that you have a long history of rate abuse, with your permissions being removed permanently at one point.

    Here are screenshots of said ratings, which I have deemed to be unnecessary ratings:

    I don't see how any of this can be deemed "rude". Especially as he made it obvious that it was a joke between himself and ForJerryWePray.

    I believe that this post was also not rude, he was stating that he was fine with the joke that BobaLatte commented, and that there was no need for it to be rated rude. You rated that post rude anyway.

    I can see how this post can be slightly rude, however it seems like you rated his posts rude to frustrate him even more.

    The "Rate Abuse Defined" thread states this:
    I believe that this is the rate abuse rule you broken.

    You have stated that you believe that the permission removal is incorrect, could you please elaborate why you think this?

    Hello, yes. I can see how any rational person can think this. I do not use these ratings often but found a reason to. There have been reasoning to my post. The 1st one I rated rude yeah, they just spoiled the game. Another user found this also to be the same as they have rated it in the same way that I have but later removed the rating as a joke or whatever. Every other post ForJerryPray makes is commanding me to remove my ratings because he does not find them rude but I do. I perhaps have been taught different meanings to these ratings but I believe they have justification and meaning behind them. I have made reports on users who have rated my posts down with dislikes etc but not sure if that counts as "negative" anymore but still it has a negative connotation which is communicated to the viewers of the thread when they are looking at what ratings it has, and apparently no action can be taken on that, which is why I do feel targeted. However this may not have relevance to the appeal and you probably can not do anything about this.

    I would also like to question whether or not ForJerryPray has recieved a warning for rate abuse as he has taken it upon himself to rate some of my posts rude from weeks/months ago with no questions.

    Bottom line, yeah, I rated this persons post rude, I thought my rating was justified, then because he starts telling me to remove the rude ratings i'll exercise my ability to use the rating, as I don't like to be bossed around. I find it rude.

    Thank you for understanding from my point of view.

    ForJerryWePray was dealt with regarding the rude rating he gave you on the same thread. In regards to any other ratings over the past weeks/months, I have not been notified of and if you haven't already, in the future please report any ratings you deem to be unnecessary, and the staff will deal with that accordingly.

    You are free to rate posts rude that seem to be blatantly rude, but I also think you have to think about whether the post is actually rude, as in BobaLatte's post, it was quite straightforward that he was simply making an innocent joke.

    The sole reason for the severity of the infraction is purely due to the fact that you have a long history of rate abuse. From this, I can tell that in the past you have been told multiple times to think about what you are rating and to be wary about what you are rating.

    As long as you understand how anyone can find your ratings unnecessary, and that you agree to be attentive to which rating should be used in what situation, I can revert the current inability to rate and accept the appeal.

    Thank you for your willingness to be open with me in explaining why the infraction has taken place. I take sole responsibility for my actions and will remember to think twice before using the rating feature.
