Some of us see it as a 'friendly competition' since technically we are going against each other to who has a higher chance of promotion, though there is no reason to get so worked up about it. Though what everyone else pointed out does have a point.
I agree, when you run for mod, you're running for a serious position so it shouldn't be a competition. Although I do understand where some people could see it as a 'friendly competition'
Please don't disagree with me when I say this. I believe that many people make mod applications to either show off to others or they think that becoming moderator will over rank everyone else, ruling by fear or in other words, showing off again. Some people might also think that becoming a moderator will benefit them ingame. Which most certainly does though. They get /fly and a few other moderator commands. But other than that, being a moderator is just helping make the community better. Thank you for reading, sorry for the length. Soap
