Closed Account association

Support. I was going to suggest this recently- turns out you beat me to it!... almost a year earlier...

Support, would be fairly easy to add as its the same forums system, and would be easier to know who has what account in game .

I would love to see this implemented on the forums
In a few other game communities I’ve been in we’ve had this feature on forums, and it is really great. It also enables the ability to search for forum users by MC Username which would be great!

 

Support, this is very useful on mineverse for people with different forums names than game

add this i haD TO NAME ALL MY ALTS URSUSALT# so people were not confused also just realized i wtote half this is caps locks im to lazy to fix it lol

Neutral leaning towards support, but when I tried doing it on mineverse it was a bit confusing. So if there's a thread explaining how it works, full support in the case.

 

It's not exactly necessary, but I don't see why it shouldn't be added. Would make sense if it was. Support

 

Support as well, it does not directly affect me as all my alts have Otter360 somewhere in their name but I could see how this could be useful

 

this looks pretty cool and could be useful,
but i'm going to have to go w/ netural for now as it might be confusing with the "IGN:" that we already have:



unless the "IGN:" would instead be replaced w/ the accounts association?

but also it may get quite clogged if it lists all our alts (even though we can tick or untick), i personally think that with just the IGN feature, it looks nice enough. An alt is an alt for a reason and some people may have multiple alts. I think there's not a great need for us to have a feature where it lists all our alts.

(ps. i was wondering if they removed this from mv forums?)

I had the same concern about this. I wouldn't mind if it only shows in the info tab, however I dislike the idea of multiple accounts/alts being shown where our current "IGN:" part is shown. If it's just our main account there, then I'm fine with that.

Like I've mentioned before it's not exactly necessary because what we have is fine now, but I wouldn't mind it as long as alts are not shown in other places besides info tab.
