~INTRODUCTION~This guide will tell you how to use Lockette in its current state, as well as the older tricks which some of you may or may not know at this stage. I hope to not only educate the newer players, but the older ones too. I do hope you enjoy :3 WHAT IS LOCKETTE?Lockette is a plugin on Skyblock.net allowing players to lock their chests and other blocks, preventing players not on the lockettes from breaking or accessing them. Full Moderators have access to break or bypass lockettes, but only if they are in the co-op or trusted. Super Moderators can break lockettes even if they are not trusted or part of the co-op. PROTECTING CHESTSThe first and most common use of Lockette is to prevent those you have trusted, and those in your coop, from accessing your chests. This method of using Lockette is extremely easy to use. 1) Right click on the chest you want protected, with a sign. 2) Click 'Done'. Your chest should now read Code: [Private] USERNAME ADDING OTHER PLAYERS TO LOCKETTESYet another very easy use of Lockette, and an important aspect. If you want to allow certain players to access your chests, but not everyone in your coop or your trust list, this is by far the easiest way to go about it. 1) Right click on the Lockette sign on your chest. 2) type into chat: Code: /lockette 3 <USERNAME> Exchange <USERNAME> for the player's username, or a group tag (see Trivia Section) 3) If the third line is used, change 3 to 4. 4) If both the third and fourth lines are being used, add another sign to the chest. It should read Code: [More Users] [Everyone] 5) Right click this sign, and add the same command as put in step 2, exchanging '3' for 2, 3 and 4 as necessary. COLOURING LOCKETTESYou can make the [Private] section of your lockette colourful if you wish, but the process of colouring must take place while you're placing the sign, and cannot be changed through /lockette <line> <text>. While you're placing the sign, you can colour your [Private] with up to 3 colour codes (as that is the maximum that the sign can fit). So, for example, if you wished for your sign to say Code: [Private] Lycel What you need to type is Code: &3[Pri&bvate] Adding your name will be done automatically and adding further names or labels can be done later through /lockette <line> <text>. During sign creation player's names cannot be colour coded, however this can be added later through using colour codes in the command /lockette <line> <text>, for example: Code: [Private] Lycel Would be created with the command: Code: /lockette 2 &3Lycel PROTECTING BLOCKSIf you've wanted to protect your previously placed rares on your items, such as diamond blocks, beacons, or others, then you may well want to use this method of protecting your rares. Please note that you cannot place signs on heads. 1) Place a fence gate on top of your block of choice. 2) Shift+Right Click with a sign in your hand, on the block you are protecting. 3) On the sign, type this: Code: [Private] 4) Click 'Done'. Feel free to destroy the fence gate, it will not effect the block being protected. PROTECTING DOORSIf you wish to prevent someone from entering an area by means of a door, you can do so using this method. This also allows for timers to be placed on doors, making them shut behind you. 1) Place a sign either one black above, one block below, on top of your door (Shift+Right Click for the latter). 2) If the door is not an oak door, type: Code: [Private] If it is an oak door, you can simply leave it as it. Click done. 3) If you wish to add a timer to the door, right click the sign you just placed and type the following in chat: Code: /lockette 3 [timer:#] Replacing # with the number of seconds you wish the door to remain open for before shutting behind you. NOTES: Due to lockette, you can open iron doors like they can wooden ones if they have a lockette on them so long as you have permissions on the lockette. If you lockette a pair of double doors, they will open together. They will also only need one lockette for the two doors. This also applies to double iron doors. If one door is in a different orientation when the lockette is created, the doors will move opposite to one another with the double-door mechanic. If this is not the desired effect, you can look at the door you wish to fix and type /lockette fix to change the door's orientation. Doors can be built on unstable blocks like sand, gravel, and TNT. This means that the door can be destroyed with or without a lockette by moving the blocks beneath it, so be sure to build your doors on a safe block. REMOVING LOCKETTES (That you do not own)If you need a lockette removed on your island, that either you need to be removed because you've changed your name, or because a member of your coop left, then you need to follow the following steps. Please note that only the island leader themselves can trust players, therefore they are the ones who make decisions on what signs are kept and broken. 1) Locate a moderator online. A full moderator will have a prefix that looks like this: [Mod] and a super moderator will look like this: [Mod]. 3) Ask that moderator to remove your signs if they're not busy. Try and be polite, and respect the fact that they can be very busy. 4) If they aren't too busy, they will either ask if you can /trust them (if they're a full moderator), or go ahead and break it for you (if they're a super moderator). Type "/trust <MODNAME>" filling <MODNAME> with the moderator's IGN. 5) They will most likely teleport to you, and remove your signs. You might need to show them where they all are. Remember to thank them kindly. TRIVIA Like all other signs, you can use colour codes (&0-9 and &a-f), but not formatting codes (&k-r) that give you bolded/italic/jumbled text, etcetera. You can add certain tags to include groups of people. These include, [default] [donor10] [donor25] [donor50] [donor100] [donor250] [donor400] [mod] [smod] [tmod] [everyone], and any other essentials rank you can think of. Oak wood doors, normal and trapped chests, and hoppers automatically make a blank sign into a lockette sign. Trapdoors, gates and iron/spruce/dark oak/birch/jungle doors need to have "[Private]" written on the sign for it to become a lockette That's all for now folks.
