They will sometimes de-spawn when a player is not in radius, you can prevent that from naming them.

Gold is a main part of the economy as it is used as one of the secondary currencies of skyblock, so yes, too much gold WOULD kill the economy.
Mob spawners WILL leave logs while spawn eggs, I believe will not, also, they can be used to kill AFK players. Which is a form of looting.
It doesn't matter, gold nuggets are not a rare drop of zombie pigmen, meaning you could still AFK farm those. I really don't want to start any...
