I really hate these new rules, I'm hoping cyp and crew manage to make a successful solution.

Why is mojang doing this ;-;

Enforcing an old rule, we can not sell anything in Minecraft for money.

Maybe this would take some diamonds out of the game. Instead of paying for donor perks with real money, players could pay for things like /fly or /enchant with diamonds.

Maybe this would raise the value of diamonds vs grass and give people goals.

The thing is, I believe the reason they have these ranks up for purchase is so they get money, which they then use to pay for the server, dev's, coders, etc

Sorry to sound like a noob but what is the EULA and how will it affect the server?

Donors can still have coloured names and commands like /ptime, but not commands like /fly. So maybe people will still donate.

I'm not entirely sure, but what will happen is mojang is going to stop people being able to pay real money for ingame items, and this will mean that lots of servers won't be able to pay for the server, the coders, the developers etc

You also cannot pay for materialistic commands, only superficial commands.

Well, on the brightside, maybe people won't want to play MC because of this, and then mojang will get rid of the rule
