Naw... I'm just a simpleton. YOU, you're all like saying wise sayings and uplifting everyone. Not to mention, you're a pretty stinkin good mod. You're alright in my book, man.
I'm a biochemistry major going pre-med. I plan to become a surgeon, mainly work in Trauma. I am already done with this semester. How do you think you did?
Wow, cool.
I'm currently undecided, but, I am taking a summer class on Introduction to computers to see if that's something I may be interested in. I'm also starting some music lessons to join Choir and Cantorum next semester, which will give me a hefty scholarship. I don't consider myself a good singer, but... I auditioned and they liked me, so I might as well give it a go. (=
Sounds awesome. Good luck with that. I find having a bunch of out of class groups really helps to keep your mind off of school stress. I personally don't do it, but I have a bunch of friends who do. I mainly just play the video games to feel better.
Well good job on acing your test. Always feels better to ace something. For myself I am most likely taking time off next semester, if not a whole semester to travel around the country and try out different jobs. While I enjoy what I am doing and plan of doing something within the medical field I still want to try out certain options I have open to me.
I almost know for a fact I am most likely going to North Dakota for a while to work in the oil fields and get some more manual labor under my belt as it helps build a good work ethic I believe. Right now I'm a part time mechanic and shop hand at an industrial shop so I enjoy working and doing things with my hands.
Thanks bud. At most I am taking off a semester, so I can finish my education within a decent amount of time, considering I have about 8-10 years of it, including my residency and such if I fully become a doctor.
Working in the oil industry for a year is a great way to fund your education as well. I know plenty of people that took a year off between high school and college to go offshore on the rigs and they pretty much funded their full 4 years at school in that short time.
