Tenor's in Bb like clarinet. And it's not hard to transpose music into different keys. I can play Eb music in Bb. F is not hard, but some notes in C are confusing.
Depends on what key. I mean, the clarinet family is the largest woodwind family. There's an Ab clarinet, Eb clarinet, D clarinet, C clarinet, Bb clarinet (most common), Bass clarinet (Bb) Alto clarinet (Eb) Contra-Alto clarinet (EEb) Contrabass Clarinet (BBb)
OctoContraAlto clarinet (EEEb). There is also a clarinet pitched higher than the Ab clarinet, I do not know what key it is in.
There is only one of that clarinet in the world, and the person that owns it is not selling it. He has a YT channel. His name is Cyrille Mercadier. The video is "The complete clarinet family by Cyrille Mercadier"
I also forgot to mention the Basset clarinet and Basset horn. Basset clarinet is a Bb clarinet but goes to down a low C, unlike regular Bb clarinets, which only reach an E. On a basset clarinet, C can be played in 5 octaves. The basset horn is also a clarinet (don't let the name trick you) and is noted in the key of F.
No one uses either of those clarinets anymore, but I know for sure some people still have them. Basset horn looks A LOT like the bass clarinet, but is a bit shorter, and you don't have to play it sitting down.
