When it comes to 2fa I normally use the Google Authenticator on my phone, so what you're going to do is download that app on your phone. Once it is downloaded you want to go onto your forums account, click on your name at the top right and go down to "Two-Factor Authentication." You will then be brough to a page where you can write a description for the key (can be anything) And you will also see a QR Code.

Open the authenticator app on your phone and hit the + at the bottom right and you will be given two options, scan a qr code or enter a key, I normally go for enter a key. After that you can give it a name doesn't matter what it's called and you will also see "Your key"that is when you can type up the key that is shown.

After that just click "Add" and you will have successfully added two-factor authentication, now whenever you try to log in the forums you will be asked to enter a code that will be given from the app on your phone. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
