oh my gosh i will. i looked up 3-gatsu no lion and it's on my list. Haven't heard of the other tho

They're both something that not everyone will like; Shinsekai Yori is a psychological thriller with a really strong atmosphere and deeper, more constructed messages. 3-Gatsu no Lion is a lighthearted slice of life that deals with extremely heavy topics while also centralizing around Shogi, though there is little necessity to know anything about it for you to enjoy it.
