If you were the leader of ur island and theres no one cooped on ur island and u coop accepted then u probably will not get ur island back. If there was a coop member in ur island and u coop accepted then that coop member mostly likely became the leader so u have to tell them to coop u back into the island.

When you join the coop make sure to tell your friend to do /changeleader (yourname) if you want to

I think its bugged. Let him invite u and then let him leave and u become the leader and invite him back (thats if there is no other coop members other than u and him)
