I'm not sure why, but I just drank a long black to see if milk was the problem, so we'll see how that goes.

Progress report: long black coffee really doesn't taste so bad. I haven't felt sick at all in the last few hours aside from the symptoms of downing an entire finger bun in 5 minutes.

Huh? I have drunk plenty of coffee before. Just not without milk. Turns out it just tastes like coffee but less milky, and makes me not feel ill.

Did you hope for something to happen, that you expected to happen?

No? I was hoping for something to *not* happen, namely getting sick. I guess I was hoping to enjoy it more, given I wasn't going to get sick?
