Archer, you get a percentile after finishing school called an ATAR, which is from everything you did in Grade 12 more or less. You then submit which courses you want to apply for in order of preference. My first preference was accepted based on my ATAR (and so I didn't need to think about my later ones).
And benji--maybe? ;> pls no stalking.
Ooh, I wouldn't fancy taking the B12. That would be very sparse. But yes, UofA for me. I was considering Flinders, but the degree I wanted to do there was too rigid and specialised for my liking. As well as that, I've already been going to Adelaide for school
Ahhh I see. Here in the US, you need to finish your high school and receive a diploma, along with that you can go to a community college, but if you wanna go to a 4 year, you'd need some extracirrucular activities to increase your chances.
In California, there is CCC (California Community College), University of California (UC), California State University (CSU) and private colleges like Stanford.
For me, I chose CSU bc the requirements are easier and that too cheaper, while getting top notch education from one of the best schools out there in the US ; )).
To get in you'd need a high school dipoma, college entrance exams (SAT, ACT, etc), and (optional) extracurricular activities although it is highly recommended.
Also benji how'd you know Lycel was going yo UOA? You stalker lmao.
Anyway great subjects you chose I like biology(not so much with genetics) : )
Also the B12 us a highway, am I correct? Here in southern California we have a freeway (also called highway but freeway sounds dope) called the 405 freeway, ironically it takes "4 or 5 hours" to get where you need to go cause of the insane congestion haha.
Hmm Australia's system sounds easier. Pretty much the same minus the extracurricular and entrance exams. Benji probably guessed UofA because it's generally considered the largest/oldest/best in the state. The other two unis are UniSA, which is modern and focussed on vocations/professions, and Flinders, which is generally pretty good but slightly more application focused than Adelaide, which is more academic focused.
Hahaha I have basically no idea. The very reasonable prices of education in Australia only really apply to Aus citizens, as the course is subsidised by the government. I have no idea how you'd go about actually transferring but you can probably look it up.
