Practice. I've loved heels since elementary school when I saw the staff walking around in these gorgeous heeled boots and I pushed my mom to buy me wedges and such. Since then, I've worn them extremely often, but now my new school building is far too large to walk around in heels. They slow you down.

Even though I can run in heels just fine, looking snazzy isn't worth risking being late to class when 3 tardies means you get detention, therefore losing possible exemption from finals.
