Personally, I find it slightly annoying when there 3 mods on, someone spams and then 10 non-staff members spam that chat asking them to stop

^ I think mini modding is best when there is no one else to help. If not, let a mod do their job. (for most circumstances)

Nothing wrong with that. It only gets unnecessary if you spam the chat with things like "Dirt is illegal", etc. But it's okay to answer people's questions and help them in pm, even if a mod is online. If anything, that'd probably help to reduce their workload, as I'm sure a lot of mods get asked for help for things that don't specifically require a moderator's permissions.
