Oh, well...it is a burden for a lot. I know for my mom it was when she was applying for a better paying job. God works everything out though in the end. Have you been talking about it with Him?
Not really... I've been talking to Him about other things, but to me, I grew up with the Sabbath on Sunday, so it's just my life basically. I really don't care either way. I like to talk to Him about my issues in life and praise Him for all He's brought to my life.
Well, I can't tell you what to do. For me? I personally believe that it's Saturday. I'm kinda hard-headed when it comes to my convictions so I'll stand by that whenever, wherever. As long as your personal relationship with Him is strong, then there is nothing to fear. You seem pretty strong though!
It is, I don't blame ya. Especially when people challenge me anyway. Its somewhat stress full just because you have to form an opposing argument that successfully, and strongly, shows why I believe in my convictions. New info, though, is what I stive for so I can defend my title as a Christian. Not neccissarily a prideful way though, I just don't like them mistreating God as some sort of "unexistant being" you know?
I get what you mean. We will never know what they are thinking because we grew up knowing and having faith that God is there. We know that because we have seen the miracles He has done in our lives. For the ones that don't believe, they won't know what that's like. Here's how I've recently been told about this:
The reason we Christians have it hard is because Satan is grabbing a hold of us and trying to make us turn away from God by thinking that God is causing these bad things in our life. However, unbelievers usually experience peace and satisfaction in their lives because Satan makes them think that their lifestyle is okay to live in.
Yea, true. The thing is though that they go through life without ever a true Hope. Not the one that He can provide anyway. It's hard, especially when you see your friends struggle. You know how to help them but it's their choice to accept Him or not. Inevitably, they go down a longer road than us...
That second part is also true. The devil wants to make it seem better, because one Judgement day comes, there's no turning back and if they went the "easy way", they're stuck here...
It's like a jail cell. A really comfortable jail cell. The door is wide open but you don't want to leave. The door is slowly closing but you're too caught up in the comfort of the time being. The door closes and that comfortable jail cell disappears and becomes hell. The believers, however, escape the jail cell and go around the other jail cells to minister to the others,
While the others are trying to entice you to come into their jail cell with the temporary comfort. The ones who stay strong and stay outside will survive the Rapture and know that God will bring eternal comfort for you; not temporary.
