But I honestly think Neuer deserved to win. Yes, he's a goalkeeper, but he has one of the best football brains out there. He knows when to clatter a striker and when to stay on his line.
I believe you're a goalkeeper right? Watch him play. Maybe nearly as good as Schmeicel.

He also has one of the biggest voices out there. He is great at communicating and keeping those in front of him in line.
Ronaldo, although he leads by example. He cannot compete with the leadership skills of Neuer. He was the main reason that Germany won the World Cup.

Neuer has done a lot this year. He's excellent. However, I believe that Ronaldo had a better year than he did. Although Neuer did win the World Cup, mostly with contribution from him, I still believe that Ronaldo was the won to win, and I am glad he did.
