Hey Peppered, I will be the one handling your appeal as I was the one who issued your punishment. Sorry for the delayed response as it has been a very busy day for me. You were muted for “Inappropriate comments towards other players.” You said in chat “ya just mad whenever ya momma tries to leave for some d she gets stuck in the door and makes u do tings u Canadian incest girl” which violates Skyblocks rules. Based off your current history on the server, it was deemed that a 7 day ban was an appropriate punishment. Are there any comments you would like to make based on the above info?
I understand that It was a inappropriate comment but me and gwoober/rinaie always talk smack to each other in a playful way, yes that sounds bad and it is taken out of context. I understand it was a bad thing to say in skyblock chat but I cant rember if it was in /local or not but that were me and her ussaly chat. Sorry for the inappropriate comment it was meant as a joke
Thanks for the response. I can see and understand that you were joking with a friend and they didn't take offense to it, but what was said was reported. What you said should never be stated in global chat regardless of it was a joke or not, which was where it was said for the server to see. I also don't understand what context would be needed where that comment would be okay in global?
I think I had just logged on and she always says ew get away or disgusting or something to that nature, and we just egg each other on after one of us logs on and yeah i get it it in global chat isnt okay but its also funny to just see in chat randomly people going at each other with ridiculous things, like it was a little far what I said but its so outta pocket i find it funny and others kinda did. I understand not to do it I will try and be more aware of where I am typing.
It seems that you just think this is all a joke and find it completely acceptable to speak in this manner in chat. I tried asking questions to gain a better understanding of the situation, but all you have said was people found it funny, it wasn't that bad, and you found it funny as well. Based on your responses I am going to be denying your appeal. I hope you learn from this and gain a better understand that what you did is wrong and not okay on the server.
