Hello, my user is AceEuro and I play on Economy Skyblock. I have read the rules and believe I was incorrectly muted today. I haven’t broken any chat rules hence my confusion. Many of my prior punishments were also incorrect, and as a player of the server I accept the rules and Code of Conduct.

Well maybe tagging them would have helped.

I’m not telepathic and can’t tell if you are the muting staff member or not, so I assumed you were ignoring it as you were posting elsewhere. I didn’t ask any staff to look at my appeal and I didn’t “constantly message” anyone either.

Of course, I haven’t broke that rule in my life!

 

Hi staff, been over 30 hours since this mute with still no idea why it was placed or who placed it. I only wonder will I get this lost time reimbursed…

first of, the format of this appeal is still incorrect, although, I’ll just ignore that fact and handle it anyways. You were muted for bringing up stuff to chat that was unwanted, especially as you recently were muted for similar reasons.

please explain to me why you should be unmuted

 

I should be unmuted because I didn’t break any rules.

 

Approximately 110 days ago, you stated on economy that you were running 6 9x9 farms and that you needed someone to build you a dirt farm. These comments were “bringing stuff up to the chat that was unwanted”, as you were actively discussing breaking the server rules. My chats have in no way surpassed the “unwantedness” of comments discussing breaking the rules, so since no mute was placed on you, I feel as if I have been unfairly targeted and muted, hence why I should be unmuted.

 

First of all, you've failed to describe why you should be unmuted. Secondly, this appeal is about you and has nothing to do with me. But if you want to discuss that feel free to staff report me which I already think you did over a dirt joke. I'll post exactly why you were muted in about 3-5 hours , then you can possibly try to explain for the 3rd time why you should be unmuted.

 

What? That is my explanation of why I should be unmuted, because I didn’t do anything worth a mute. You just happened to be a really good example for things said in chat that were bad and didn’t warrant a mute, so don’t take it personally.

Additionally, that comment that you think I staff reported you over a dirt joke is unwanted Oak. Does that mean you deserve a mute for it? According to your logic, I guess so! Also, you thought wrong. I made my forum account 3 days ago, how on earth could I have reported you for something that happened 110 days ago when you can’t use evidence from more than 2 weeks? Do you not know the rules or are you just trying to use this as an attempt to defame me if I was to choose to report someone joking about breaking the rules?? This is crazy.

 

Judge: Why should we let you out of prison?
Prisoner: I haven’t broken any laws.
Judge: Yes you have, now explain why we should let you out of prison!

??? I’m not sure what you want me to say here Oak. You have given me absolutely no indication whatsoever as to what this mute is for.

If that is your reason for being unmuted, I guess there is not much I can do, unfortunately. I don't know how it works in your country/region, but here the person who has been punished must prove the judge wrong with evidence, not just say they did not do it, but maybe that's just here. Some better explanation would've been appreciated.

Anyways, you were muted for bringing up punishments in chat multiple times after just coming back from another mute for the same reason. You started rallying about your mute and other punishments, even though you should not publically discuss punishments. On top of that, you started going after specific users by sort of calling them out and getting a response from them, even though they ignored you time after time, you still kept on mentioning them.

Hope this clears things up for you.

 

I should be unmuted because;

1. Speaking about punishments isn’t against the rules. I wasn’t muted for this same reason if you did some research you could see this. I did not rally anything and simply explained to my friends how I felt about the punishment, all which is in the appeal that was made PUBLIC by Skyblock.

2. Asking someone’s username until you get their attention isn’t against the rules. You have given very vague reasoning for this reason, but I can infer what you may be talking about. If the user had ignored me, then it would have been no problem as they would not have seen the messages. Luckily I was able to catch the user at a good time and ask them the question I needed to ask, however I was asking this users name in chat before I was muted, and Novembree mentions this situation in my old appeal, so I’m afraid you’ve violated the double jeopardy clause and muted me twice for the same action, both of which should not have deserved a mute in the first place.
