I would like clarification from you on the following points: - Please note all locations you've placed dirt (which islands, which chests, etc) and with whom you've traded dirt. Do you have an estimate of how many islands you created to farm, or how much dirt, in total, you obtained illegally? - Given your understanding of the rules of the server, why do you think it is against the rules to island farm? What reasoning do you think was behind the creation of this rule? - Second chances and leniency are all well and good, but can you provide further reasoning as to why you should be allowed back on the server before the 21 days are up? Hey Bri In regards to dirt, most of it is legitimately sourced and placed within my 2 melon farms however there is 10 stacks in a large chest, 5 of which I gained from island farming. The rules behind island farming are there so people don't abuse island farming to sell dirt to people and ruin the economy. Even know there is no excuse for island farming, I think I should be given one because, despite my island farming I would also help some beginners get to know there way around the game. Hopefully maybe we could put this behind us and if we did I promise you you would not see another.appilcation from me. Thanks, B
Right-o, So our logs indicate that there was about an order of magnitude more dirt than the five stacks you've noted here farmed illegitimately. Honesty is important, here. "Ruining" the economy, I suppose, is somewhat of the issue with it, but dirt farming alone couldn't really bring the economy down. It's more about the fact that you've now gained an unfair advantage over other players who work hard and play fairly, which is not acceptable. I will not be approving your appeal at this juncture and will uphold the length of the ban. While I am happy to hear you enjoy the server so much, and I hope the community is a positive for you, it's a two-way street so we need to play fairly and take responsibility when we fall short. -Bri
