re-suggestion: hi can we have dumb rating on sb because we have it on Mineverse, thanks! Edit: to all the people rating no support w/o posting an opinion, pls say as to why it wouldn't work
the rating could be used in a joking sense & people should be free to express their opinions through ratings just as it is right now. if people are caught abusing the rating to inflict others, they can be infracted, just as it is with other ratings like the dislike rating. there are current ratings that can definitely be used to inflict others, but if used properly it's fine, same can go for the dumb rating. on mineverse, it's rarely used & people who use it mostly use it towards their friends in a #silly sense. support. mods just have to be alert for when people inflict others. sometimes people can make dumb comments so the rating could fit there. i guess it can be insensitive, however if people feel as if others are inflicting them with the rating, they can just report their post or dm a staff member. it also doesn't hurt to give something a try. if it's abused, it can be removed, simple. there's no point in "not adding it" if you feel as if it's going to start arguments. you never know what happens. maybe it might, maybe some people might like it. who knows. gotta give it a shot first.
