    Lately there has been improvements made to Economy; namely new blocks, new shop and of course /pay made a return. However something that has been a point of discussion is still lag, afk grinding and incentives to play the server. We all have our thoughts and ideas on what we would like to see happen and I'd like to invite you all to properly have a say about what you want to see happen, what you want added or any issues you see occurring (Time to suggest new rank perks! ;) )

    Please bear in mind this feedback will be given to Noobcrew and he is aware of this thread being created. It's important to have a well thought out list or request that will benefit the server or a well thought out opinion.

    As always I will propose the following rules just so everyone has a fair chance to give their thoughts:

    1. Please don't debate or argue. Focus on perfecting your own ideas
    2. If you are rated a dislike or disagree don't worry, your ideas will still be read
    3. Feel free to DM your ideas and feedback to me if you don't want to post publicly
    4. Please keep feedback constructive.

    • Seasonal Warps (made a suggestion). Eco players should be able to head hunt and something new to the Economy would be nice. Same rules on survival and same warp area should be added.
    • Some adjustments to /pay (made a suggestion).
    • Maybe change the colours back to the original ones. Purple, Gold doesn’t look too good and I prefer the OG colours. You can change the premium one but maybe keep VIP and Elite’s. (Suggestion made by Pillow)

    Maybe limit the amount of item frames which can be placed in one chunk
    Yesterday we dropped to about 12tps and the main lag came from absurt amount of item frames placed on different islands the top 5 laggiest chunks according to Megan were chunks with too many item frames =)

    Mob caps on animals like chickens. Nobody needs 500 chickens, cap at like 50 or less

    these are jus minor ish suggestions but the implementation would be great

    another idea is Adriansop 's banker suggestion: Economy - The Banker | Skyblock Forums
    i think that this would make economy more unique and different to skyblock, which would maybe appeal to more players

    My suggestions are the banker, changing back the rank colors, some spawners for unobtainable mobs, chicken caps or no eggs can spawn chickens on other island

    The banker
    1% interest per day must log on once every week
    100k per day input
    no alts bank
    makes currency more valuable and give passive income that doesnt need to be afked

    Changing back some rank colors
    highroller just looks bad

    More spawners
    more people buying keys
    better less laggy afk farms
    specifically guardian, and a nerfed zombie pigman spawner,

    Chicken issues
    this is a really frustrating issue maybe just add it to /setting or make it so u need /trust to egg

    This is something you can do on both servers:
    Update item frames once every 20-200 ticks instead of every tick. This would severely reduce lag, and really help out.

    My suggestion is to take away some buying options for items in /shop, ultimately quartz, that are supposed to be gathered through natural means. If the shop limits your ability to sell items for more than it offers, your hard work won't pay off enough and there won't be any motive to invest more into it. Raising the prices of /shop items won't do much, as inflation keeps growing.

    A complete re-balance of the shop could really spice up the server and reduce the current goal of 90% of players which is to create: A) pig grinders B) Pumpkin farm C) Cactus farm, and not a lot else (all of the above are also afk farms and highest yielding farms).

    These sell prices /opinions mostly ignore the new implementation of warp shop as selling any significant amount of items there takes more time than farming the item itself.

    Here are some of the main imbalanced items that if changed, I think would improve and change how people could make money in "less laggy" and "non-afk" ways.

    ALL logs are significantly undervalued by /shop and are NOT worth farming unless selling to players.
    1 stack of 64 logs sells for $12.8, 1 log takes around 1/2 a second to break with a good axe. That's $0.4 per second, $24 per minute or $1440 per hour, just mining logs non-stop 24/7 with no break.

    /baltop is roughly $100,000,000. If you mined logs to get to /baltop you would need to mine logs non-stop 24/7 for 69444.44 hours. Thats 2893.5 days. Or nearly 8 years, 10.5 years if mining oak logs as opposed to spruce.
    Not worth! :-D

    Saplings should also be raised as otherwise large quantities are built up and eventually just left on the floor as they are worthless or sold for the same amount as a few seconds of chopping logs.

    One of the hardest to farm items in 1.12.2 and especially hard with the low spawn rates due to the amount of players online taking up the mob-cap. Going to the nether, finding a ghast, killing it, the chance if it dropping a tear, the chance that it doesn't fall in lava/fire. All for $3.5 that could be obtained from any of the main profit shops in about 1 second flat.
    Not worth! :-D

    Two popular farming items with new players as they are in the default chest yet sell for stupidly low amounts to /shop and there is 0 demand for it from players. Richer players have created massive farms to try to deal with the low sell price but, although they cause little tps drop, these farms would be unnecessary if the sell price was reasonable.
    Barely worth! :-D

    This one kind if speaks for itself, farming mushrooms in any way shape or form does not make money.
    /baltop is roughly $100,000,000. If you sold mushrooms to reach that you would need 10,000,000,000 mushrooms. 156,250,000 stacks of 64 mushrooms. 2,893,518.5 double chests of mushrooms. Which would take up a 179.5 x 179.5 x 179.5 cube of solid chests filled with mushrooms.
    Unimaginably not worth! :-D


    Other items that are usually farmed on other server that are not worth farming here due to low sell price: (I reached the image attachment limit lul)
    Ice
    Wheat/bread
    Most hostile mob drops (rotten flesh, bones, string etc)
    Any seed type (not really necessary to change price but it is SO stupidly low)
    Snow / snowballs
    Probably a few that I missed


    Overall my opinion is that through this wipe of economy specifically, the mentality seems to have been:
    "Pumpkin farms are causing a lot of lag because people are building them so big" NERF pumpkin sell price. "Pumpkin farms are still being made bigger hmmm" NERF pumpkin sell price more.
    (with all main farms, pumpkin just used as an example)

    What seems to have been overlooked/missed is that the reason people are farming a few main items are because the other alternatives are SO bad, and SO much slower compared to the 3-5 main methods that there is no reason to change to them even after a nerf.

    So I think that instead of nerfing anything any further and making reaching /baltop pretty much impossible without a large group / afking 24/7 at HUGE farms, buff some of the other money making methods to bring them more in line with the others or even make them better as some cannot be afked and are even... FUN?

    This is not a hate post and I do not / did not expect crew and the devs to pull perfect sell prices out of thin air first time at launch but I think we call all see now that some items are just not worth farming and should be balanced.

    Make afking illegal; please. The players might not like it, but it would heavily reduce the number of loaded chunks, reducing lag especially if there are entities in those chunks. (like item frames; players often have hundred of item frames on their islands)

    Rank improvements: add a rank for d250, like on skyblock. This rank would have /enchant and other commands ported from /skyblock.

    Donation improvements: let the player choose the spawner they get from /kit spawner; pig spawners are the most profitable anyway.

    Donation improvements 2: sell 10 grass for 1-2 dollars, and 50 cents to a dollar on sale. While still a bit overpriced, it would be something that lazy players may buy. People would still be encouraged to buy grass from each other, and i don't believe the price would change.
    or you could make it 64 for 5-10 dollars, and 2.50-5 on sale.

    Donor improvements: let d250 and d100s have keepinventory (they already have /god, and it would heavily reduce the number of threads made by players whining (sorry, its true) about how they lost their ElYtRA At SpAwN). Additionally, make it something buyable, similar to /fly for ranks below d100. This would create a dupe glitch with /lnf, so the command would have to be disabled for people with keepinventory turned on

    Donor improvements: halve the number of items in d50s kits, but let them access it once a day. encourages players to get on more often.

    lag ideas I'm not sure if this is possible, but change clag to something new: Instead of clearing all items on a timer, make them disappear much faster (instead of 5 minutes, make it 1 minute. Who's gonna drop an item for an entire minute and just forget about it?) That would equal 1200 ticks instead of 6000.

    lag ideas: as stated previously, update item frames if they are in the same chunk as a player (very important) and only once a second to once a minute (1/20 ticks or 1/1200 ticks). This would make breaking item frames laggier (if I am not mistaken); so i don't know if it is a good idea to go the full 1 minute. However, I don't think one second of lag is any different with the current tps... lol

    lag ideas 2: add increasing redstone limits with ranks. While I know that larger ranks often have more redstone anyway, this would slightly discourage the use of greenie (YAY!! I CAN SAY THAT NOW!!!) alts with gigantic redstone islands; both (or either, not sure) reducing the server lag and bringing in a bit more profit for the server bc of people who really need that extra redstone.

    Random ideas: allow players to make an appeal (sort of) to have their island moved to an inactive player's island location. The island with the inactive player couldn't be part of an island chain, and must be at least:
    • smaller than 25*25 in area with the player inactive for more than 6 months.
    • smaller than 50*50 in area with the player inactive for more than 12 months.
    • smaller than 75*75 in area with the player inactive for more than two years.
    Or, you could make this something that players could buy for a similar price as an island expansion (or more, if you think necessary), justifying the admin's effort.

    Random ideas 2. allow players to buy all kinds of spawners from /buy. Simple, easy, effective.

    Feedback on drop party is find a way to solve the error that happens when you do /events "too many players logging in." Many, many people were not able to attend due to this, and it kinda was annoying.

    Also for the dp, PLEASE MUTE THE CHAT WHILE THE HEADS ARE BEING GIVEN OUT! Once the group is done, the chat can resume, but gosh it gets annoying

    Another dp thing would be to not have a million spaces before the dp thing talks. It doesnt need that space, just send a message in chat, not 2 million. Kills minechat users, not allowing them to attend (can verify happened to me, lagged out cause of that a lot)

    regarding /warp halloween, i was thinking maybe after the halloween head hunt ends, would it be possible to enable /fly for people within the warp (including greenies and donors w/o a /fly rank) cause so much effort has been put into the warp but so a lot goes un-noticed too due to the vast area and details.

    i think in general it'd be nice if people are able to explore the warp through /fly.

    but all in all i loved the events and thank you to the staff and builders etc for the effort :heart:
