Long ago, the /repair command was instant, but now a delay has been added. The delay is 20 minutes long, wich I beleive to be excessive.

"You cannot type that command for 19 minutes and 59 seconds."

I know the delay wasn't just added without a reason or thought, but I'd like to suggest it being dropped down to 5 or 10 minutes instead. We usually like to see our tools without the damage bar, or sometimes we use our precious item in a generator, such as a stone one, and because we couldnt repair it in time it broke, so we lost our Silk Touch pickaxe (example).

If the delay can't be removed it should atleast be shorter.

    Thank you.

The delay was added in with the new rules of no using fast break or nuke hacks related to stop afk stone mining which caused the server to lag tremendously instead of adding it for just pickaxes they added it for everything which makes no sense

It’s really frustrating, we can no longer use speednuker, and at the same time we can’t repair regularly. I was shearing my 300 sheep, and when I went to repair my shears, I couldn’t. A twenty minute cool down is ridiculous, it should be around 5-10.

D400’s have /repair all which you could use as many shears as you need till 20 minutes is up then repair all of them they should only have the cool down for pickaxes to prevent speed mining or number not for all tools

I get the cool down is frustrating. But what it brings is some balance. It’s not just an anti afk strategy to me, it’s much needed reprieve from donor domination of market, even if other commands like god and fly make it easy. Having two or three picks, for example, then switching between three will be sufficient when enchanted fully. Be creative.

You have a cool down on your items, just add mending or have multiple in your inventory and cycle through them

I was thinking about this recently after using my shears to collect a large amount of leaves, and then again when I was considering going to /warp hostile and realised I had more items than my repair command could immediately handle.

There are a couple of solutions to get around the initial annoyance:
    • Have multiple tools which you can switch out and rotate repairs to.
    • If you’re able to, go and do something else whilst you wait for your command to cool down.
    • Add the mending enchantment to your items and then pay a visit to /warp passive and take your anger out on some sheep. The experience will repair your items fairly quickly.
      • Alternatively for places such as /warp hostile, if you’re vigilant and pay attention to the things you farm, the exp. will automatically repair your armour and sword whilst you’re there and you won’t have to teleport home.

With that in mind, neutral. Yes, it’s annoying at first but it’s not the end of the world.

Solution is to eat all of your sheep and buy wool from Drogo. It’s cheap.

I would like to see the delay dropped to 0 minutes. When trimming trees with sheers the sheers need repair all the time

To be honest, that's the only thing that keeps lower-ranked players' enchanting business alive. (Barely)

lower ranked players don’t even have /fix (im fairly certain its skyking and below), and Enchanting is essentially owned by Skygods and above as they literally have /enchant

This is the reason the server was lagging very badly in the first place; people would AFK mine with fastbreak and whatever enabling them to break more blocks faster - on multiple accounts - essentially killing the server. This is the reason why the cooldown was added in the first place.

    This ^^

Tools are cheap af. If you have spare skiddaddles or an extra grass just buy another one of said tool and keep going. Or use an experience grinder (guardian) to get experience fast for mending

Lastly I think this goes against the rules of the subforum - it said somewhere you weren’t allowed to suggest changes on Cosmetic items/commands if I’m correct

    He does it everywhere.

Anytime is a smart time to advertise for the Drogo.
