Global Updates - February 3rd, 2025

• Numerous QoL changes and bug fixes to Skyblock Advertisements (/ads).
  
  1. Ads will now expire in 7 days, compared to 3 days.
  
  2. Small updates to menu items, text, colors, etc.
  
  3. Various bug fixes, most notably, patching a potential glass pane dupe.
  
  4. It is now easier to separate lines in your ad descriptions. Add a period "." or exclamation mark "!" at the end of a sentence to have the next words/sentence start on the next line. For example, "Welcome. to. my. island!" will put each word on its own line with spaces in-between. There is a maximum of 4 lines.
  
  5. Statistics and data such as total grass/money spent, total visits, and total advertisements purchased are now being logged and will be visible within your profile menu soon.

Global Updates - January 31st, 2025

• Fixed "Network Protocol Error" disconnects on Minecraft 1.21.4 clients.
  
  Please report any instances. For now, it may occur rarely, some additional fixes will be applied tomorrow morning.
  Thank you to Matt for spending a TON of time figuring out this very odd and difficult issue.
  
• Significant reduction in amount of packets on player logins. This may decrease server lag slightly and may result in smoother logins via your client, however the full benefits are likely hard to notice.
  
• The domain "SkyWars.com" is now accessible on Minecraft 1.21.4 clients and any future updates, resolving a long outstanding issue where only clients up to 1.19.2 were able to connect.
  
• Lunar New Year gift has been extended an additional 24 hours.

Global Updates - January 25th, 2025

• Prefixes on Tab from ranked players are now hidden.
  
  This was highly suggested as tab would appear messy with users that have long names/prefixes. If you prefer how tab previously looked however, you can toggle the "Tab Prefixes" setting within the "Social" category via '/preferences'. This preference will remain toggled for your account even on future logins. You must relog for changes to take effect, if enabled.
  
• SkyWars and Classic are now accessible on clients above Minecraft 1.19.2 (again). Previously these servers were only accessible on 1.19.2 clients and below as ViaVersion briefly discontinued support for Java 8.
  
• Added additional link commands such as /x, /reddit, /merch.
  
• Enabled broadcast messages within the hubs. Apparently, the default permission was never added, so I guess I have been the only one viewing them for several years.
  
• Small changes to menu colors and info messages in the SkyAuction (/ah) on...
