Support, I thought I put support for this but it said someone removed my no support reply. Oh well! this would be extremely helpful. Right now I have to run to every chest in my shop around where a player was when I got the message and it gets very irritating lol.

Best suggestion I've ever seen! - Noobs always seem to spam empty shops even if there's a sign on it saying OUT OF STOCK, DO NOT BUY. 10000001% support!!

Apart from the 600 or so extra shops Drogo has in place currently to cater for his customers during his three week absence, all of his shops have a lighting system that alerts him of empty shops.
Admittedly, each shop now takes up more space and resources but it saves Drogo a great deal of time. Also buyers know which shops have stock.

Even in the smaller shop that I was running, it was very difficult to work out which shop wasn't stocked, and as players would often leave before you got a chance to go down and see which one they were trying to use it was a case of running around the whole area trying to find one out of stock, so I support this suggestion completely. I think that the teleportation idea is a bit unnecessary, but telling you what the shop sells would be so much more beneficial to any player.

How did I not reply to this before? Fat support! It's so annoying when someone spams my tradeshop and 40% of the chat is dominated by all those cords. Also I love the teleportation idea, it would help me shave some time from my farms to my tradeshop.

 

Don't run a shop but I can see how frustrating it could be. Support.

 

I’ve supported suggestions similar to this before, and I’ll support this one too.

In conjunction with the suggestion for being notified when you log on, this suggestion would be nice too, especially as it tells you exactly what shop needs some attention.

Only problem I can see with it? If a shop owner is online and AFK for a long time, they’ll miss the out of stock message. Realistically though, that’s not a huge problem and one that already exists.

 

Then you could do '/shop outofstock read' and it lists all the ones since you last did '/shop outofstock clear'?
