Yeah it may seem like a no brainer but the whole point of dying at that point is to stop all the infinite future pain that would be bound to happen

 

Robber -Reason: You get Money, you spend less time in jail, you don't live with the guilt of killing someone (if you succeed in your terrorist act)...

You are captured by the US military and they are going to torture you. They give you 2 choices. 1. is stretching your body more and more and more until your hands tied to the ropes die (cut off from the bloodstream) or walls close in on you SLOWLY squishing you more and more until you die.

I would rather be always moving because with out moving your muscles could kill you eventually.

It's a no win situation but I'd rather let it spread because it would be slower than to have everyone hear it all at once (If that makes sense)
