I just wanna state something real quick and that it's the fact that eco needs staff: I know we have staff who's online but often surv 75% of the day and that's great. But I see no reason why a staff member would have to be survival main if they're willing to go on survival when needed, know the survival servers ins and outs and just tends to play on eco but are willing to help out players on both servers, Im not necessarily saying consider me; But this is just a friendly suggestion for surv main players- consider the lack of staff activity on eco compared to survival and when your forming your responses pay attention to what eco players are saying! There's insight to be had there and I think we'd have better support all around with eco if we had staff members who better understood the issues on a more in depth level outside of just hearing things from players. Long story short, If we eco players have to get staff from survival whenever there's an issue most the time I see no reason why we shouldn't consider someone for staff who's on eco that can diffuse situations and moderate on survival that short span of time during the day where there's no staff on survival- Alts do exist, Its possible to monitor 2 chats at once or least have both servers open Wanna end this off by saying I still appreciate all suggestions and comments

 

The "basic" question I asked was about the new chest shop and I believe the person I askedd thought I knew NOTHING about chest shops; I was just confused w the new plugin
: I get on surv at least once daily to just pop in. and have spent time on there learning the mechanics; Im able to help ppl on there, help them better understand the game and rules and be of good use when it comes to helping out

 

Im also just saying its not fair at all for ppl to say "you shouldn't be staff because you asked me a question" when they're the same people asking questions on the eco things they don't know about. (not you, this is just a generalization) I think NONE of us should have problems w asking help for new things; this makes it easier for every1 to learn. We are all learning 1.19, being ashamed to ask questions is silly.

I'd like to bump up my rating as well.

Austin has a kind heart and is a responsible community member. He knows his strengths, and knows when to ask for help, which is actually an important quality in a person. And, I think he made excellent points in his comments. To me, as long as he knows the mechanics of the Survival server (I have come to understand he does, with only a few little spots to improve) he is fit for staff, because 1) he is prepared to assist in most matters there and 2) he has mastered Eco sufficiently and the need for mods there is... significant. He would fulfill an important need there, and would still be reliable to be pulled onto Survival provided he continues his learning process there. I have come to understand his commitment to the community in recent days, and am confident he is a strong advocate for our members.

I recant my "neutral" and hereby move to support.

Edited to include some things I've been doing: This past week on skyblock Ive been starting my second floor for my drop down into my current spawn! I wanna make it cobble then terraform or add color variation w moss/ diff types of carpets. Ive also been grinding gold heavy and saving up as much grass as possible to upgrade my rank eventually I also added in a whole bunch of zombpig spawners for my grinder to be more efficient! Have been focusing more in chat when not busy on trying to help out ppl w questions or new players Ive been on my afk on eco ( doesn't count much haha) just to save up bal to trade for sb grass and popping in chat for a little bit daily to check on every1 when I'm not busy Im trying so hard to save all I got rn HAHAHA (I have gambling issues)

Adding some updates as a bump So ive been gold grinding ALOT and I'm like halfway to being able to pay for someone to get me sky titan haha. Ive also been just getting more familiar people and helping out as many new players as I can While a lot of my playtime recent is from afk grinding I'm typically on 2-4+ hours still daily
