I keep getting griefed lost 200 diamonds worth of stuff and no logs, wot can I do to get it to stop? I don't wanna build will I just have to make a new island?

Edit: Don't move this to help I am not after help just wanting to here what everyone thinks about the matter

 

1. Stop inviting people to your island. Like, everybody. Even if they just want to see your island.
2. Do the trades at skybase. Not at your island.
3. Private your chests if you haven't. Private your blocks, which can be privated, if you havent.
4. Buy DCs of Furnaces, and create a warehouse, and store all your belongings in there. And Private all the furnaces, and decorate the exterior/interior, if you wish to.

That should prevent it.

I hate when that happens. Do this. As far as your buildings go, keep it simple, don't make it too extraordinary.

If you want to build good buildings, then buy like few(10-15 DCs) of Furnaces and then creates a huge cube like room = (99 x 99 x whatever height you wish), and private every single furnace so no one except you can enter. And create a private door/trapdoor that only your can enter into the cube.

It will require 3 DCs to use occupy entire 99 x 99 floor. So with that, 6 DCs for above and below floor. The walls will depends on your height. I suggest having 40-50 as your max height. And build this near your void, and decorate the interior with a nice flooring, walls, and everything of your choice.

I know, this requires a LOT of work and resources, but hey, it'll keep it safe!

It always happens...always make sure that players don't log out on your island & generally avoid teleporting them if you can. As for the privatised furnaces idea, there's too many loopholes around it. It's safer to just not place your valuables & keep them safely in a chest. :'(

 

There are? I am not aware of these loopholes. :/ I mean, if you create a boxed structure, and privatize it...i don't think anyone will be able to get into it or break it.

 

Well, /jump for starters...and I do recall people using variour other glitches to get through. /jump's the biggest one though...

 

Hence I mentioned building this near the void, and having the bottom floor as the last level before a person can die. And this would prevent the player's ability to use jump during this time...or i think?

 

You can still fly up to a certain level below the bedrock level...so yeah. Also, one can simply jump off & quickly use /jump. X3
