As of this morning when I try to connect I get this error message and the number of people online is dropping. What does that error message mean?

 

It has been laggy ALL day

 

not to mention persistent lag spikes... for like the past week. I cant even get online now

Nup, you've just been CONSOLE banned probably. (Due to the lag) This lag's been going around for quite a while now, and nobody know what's causing it. According to Dewmellon, I was banned while I was getting this message. You should probably ask to get unbanned, unless this is a temp. banned.

 

The only two people that can fix this is Noobcrew or Cypriotmerks. Nothing I can do, I am sorry. Give it some time, server should be back up soon.

 

Dewmellon are you saying that crew and merkz are the only ones that can fix the lag or unban me?

It still may be the DDoS Protection. I'm unsure if it's been resolved yet.

 

Absolutely love how everyone is throwing wild guesses around;
"Lag here", "ddos there", "ddos protection blah", "entity causing chunk to corrupt yah" (that one actually can crash a server) "think it might be ze internetz lol", "banned lololz so helpful"

As for gummybear fisherman: Doing some research on the error itself could potentially be a good initiation to finding an answer at all.

This probably sounded rude, and I apologise for that, but then again, doing research or looking things up, generally speaking, is a great idea.

No doubt about it though it's either Spleef (Highly doubt) or DDoS protection.

 

I did look the error up and I got a whole bunch of wishy-washy answers...someone thought it was because that MINECRAFTS servers were down and it did indeed appear that they went offline for a little bit.

 

How about you all stop guessing random reasons for it being down (if it is even still down), and just wait it out.
No one is banned.
Crew has been looking for reasons behind the lag, hence things like /list being temporarily removed.
Stop scaring each other with your stupid reasoning for it.

 

Cyp told me that the lag is from a bunch of plugins, not DDoS, ISP lagging, firewall, corruped chunk, etc.
Please be patience.
