Lowkey it sounds fire and I wouldn't mind listening this in a traffic jam Also no hate for australia I love australia and love kangaroo steaks
Kangaroo steaks can be pretty tough. Drogo used to work shooting them so ate his fair share. Wild goat was better.
The steaks I’ve had were not tough but I suppose they could be depending on how it’s cooked or the kangaroo you have. Goat is really nice. Goat tastes closer to beef.
I tried goat couple of times. It's alright I'm not a fan of it. I ate bison. Its tastes the same as beef but it doesn't have the bad things red meat normally has. Lamb is amazing you have to cook it right though otherwise you can easily screw it up
Yeah. Drogo ate what he killed so not cooked like in restaurants. They would tenderise and marinate it. Lamb is lovely, it’s a staple here in Australia. Drogo has been in Japan for the last couple weeks where meat other than fish is pricy so Drogo is missing it. Drogo doesn’t like fish.
In some parts of Australia, there are too many and they need to be culled. Drogo was working 100’s kilometres from any town or shop so we ate what we killed.
In California, kangaroo meat is illegal to be imported and sold but everywhere else in the US its legal
When I went to France I ate snails and duck. Was expecting snails to be slimy and sh but lo and behold, no, they tasted like a mix of pork and beef, but closer to pork (at the resturant I went to they grilled em. Tough meat but nice). Duck just tastes similar to chicken. I’m Australian and I’ve never tried Kangaroo, Goat, or a few other of the “exotic” meats that are around here. The only other countries I’ve been to is Greece, Macedonia and Thailand (Phuket). Didn’t eat anything very unique in Thailand for the risk of food poisoning, except one night when we went to a European resturant (in Thailand). Ate lamb, that we knew was imported.
