I Wonder why glass trade is illegal on .org
But at .net its not...
Please Explain why

 

I'm pretty sure because it is not able to be found in kits or shops. Thus, the only way to obtain sand to smelt to glass is by islands.

Yup.

At one point sand was sold in the old admin shop on org, but the new admin shop doesn't sell anything. There is currently no legal way to get more sand, and therefore glass. So it's illegal to trade sand, glass and all products (except glass bottles) on org, to help discourage island farming.

While on net, glass can be bought at /warp grass, and sand is also available in kits I believe, so more glass can be smelted.
