My oldest memory: When spawn was a 3x3 grass platform, you could push people off, there was 3 signs explaining the whole meaning of skyblock. And if you broke a block, you would lag out!
Joining a co-op, fixing all of the unorganized stuff on their island after they left the game, and dying with the bucket after I finished. I was like, "Oh crap, he's gonna be pissed" and ditched the co-op.
