You know, if you compare the community now, to the community late 2012, it's very different. Some things for the worse, some for the better. You can't avoid the fact that some players quit or change attitude. It's life. Things change.
Since I joined certain elements of the community have never changed. But As does everything, change is normal. Its sometimes hard to accept because we get so used to one idea and one thing and something comes and shifts whats comfortable. And that isnt exactly a negative thing as suggested by the tone of this thread. But since this is a server, the only thing that has probably changed are the people. Peoples ideals have changed, people come and go, people created this change and we just go with it. those who didnt have left. I know I have changed from when I was just a player. I know some f my friends I knew for a while have changed. I know this community will keep changing. But no matter what I think this is one of the best communities ive been part of. I wouldnt have it any other way.
I agree with Sala, change is natural. If I am correct, the spam engines were not even around until this year. That change is bad... Also, a good change (mostly) is our mod system. It changes a lot, we get new mods when others are inactive, violating rules (not common, but do happen), or just resign for things like jobs, college, or real lives.
I feel like the community has changed a lot in the last 6 months and not for the better. Cyp is less active I hardly see crew on and when he is on he isnt on for very long. Admins have been demoted or left Not many smods get on anymore less players I could go on The community is a lot worse than it was 6 months ago.
The community has changed, some good, some bad. The point is, things change in every situation. We can't just focus on the bad.
