Before I start this is a 100% opinion thread and nothing is fact. Here are just a few things I think you should think about before beginning to write your moderator application. It is not a popularity contest You should be kind and mature How well do you know the community/how well do they know you? Why do you really want mod? How active can you be with your life still going on? Be patient and wait not many people become mods over night When I said it is not a popularity contest I mean that it is not about how popular you are, but how committed you are to the servers and it's players. It helps to be well known since it proves you are trust worthy and shows character. So before going and posting in the moderator application section go make a few friends on the server. Have a little fun don't just go straight for a staff position. You won't have a lot of free time as a mod so get as much as you can before you apply. I see lots of who is your favorite mod threads. It doesn't matter if you never get mentioned in one of those threads, what matters is how you treat the community and how you do your job. If you are a moderator chances are you are doing a really good job already. Happy skyblocking everyone
For me, being a moderator is a chance to help. In my case, it kinda restricts my gameplay, as people get mad when I kill them. In all seriousness, this is all true.
