Don't care about being mod so that you can keep an open mindset and not feel constricted as to what you can say, but don't be a dumb s*** that makes stupid decision.

Earlier, there were people jumping to the conclusion that this is because I am about to apply for mod. Here is the truth: I am still not ready to be mod. This discussion is for everyone

I am definitely no perfect picture of somebody who is never not good enough. I have made mistakes myself. I can give you all personal examples of what not to do if you want to be mod, because I have made mistakes:

    • Don't nick abuse, it may seem funny at first, but without permission given, people can get offended
    • Don't hate on the mods. There was a period of time that I did that because I was being stupid, immature, and inconsiderate of the mods and I just wasn't thinking. The mods do their jobs to the best of their abilities, and I am sorry to those mods who I had especially been rude to: Wilbos_World Krissy MindSensation and there were multiple others that I had hated on because or my arrogance and immaturity.
    • If you apply, and get criticism, don't react in anger. That's the most recent mistake I made, again an example of immaturity. Mods are supposed to be professional, and applicants should be ready to take criticism. I wasn't ready, because I took it wrong. I had disrespected, and was very rude to a player in particular. Nyxa I am still very sorry, there was no call for the way I acted. It's vital that an applicant takes criticism, reacting in anger as I did is immature and a sure fire way not to get support.

Like I said, I don't want people picking on others about their mistakes, however I feel like it's important that I admit to mine. The three things above were huge immature mistakes that I had made, if you want to be mod, you can't afford to compulsively make foolish decisions as I did. So use what I said as a take-home for mod apps. Don't do what I did, it was stupid, foolish, and immature.

Sorry nearly choked when i read some of the responses. God damn some people like to think they're perfect applicants.
What makes a person ready for mod? There's really no answer.
What I can say is if you are going to be a rule breaking a hole who dislikes staff and has a horrible attitude then you won't be selected.
And that is all there is to it.

Exactly like I said. I made those mistakes, it's been a while, but still I have plenty to improve on before I am near ready.
I agree, you aren't, but be careful to speak so soon. People make mistakes I love that you aren't, and you aspire to be mod, but be careful. When I first wanted to be mod a while ago I said the same thing to myself. Unfortunately I hit an immature area for some stupid reason and was rude to the staff and other players. Still to this day, I regret every moment of what I did.
